My Life's Journeys

I believe my vocation is essentially that of a Pilgrim and an exile in life, that I have no proper place in the world, but for that reason I am in some sense to be the friend and brother of people everywhere, especially those who are exiles and pilgrims like myself……My life is in many ways simple, but it is also a mystery which I do not attempt to really understand, as though I were led by the hand in the night where I see nothing, but can fully depend on the Love and Protection of Him who guides me.

The highlight of this website is the retrospective blog that describes my walk along the Camino de Santiago, beginning in St Jean Pied de Port and finishing in Finistera. But I view my passage through life as one long journey (El Camino de la Vida) made up in turn of many smaller caminos. Accordingly the site gives me the opportunity to describe key aspects of my life’s journey so far such as where I came from, what inspires me and what has made me the person that I was, when on Saturday 21 September 2019 I took my first step along the Camino de Santiago.
